Junior B Football League (5th April 2013, Caheragh)
Tadhg Mac Carthaigh 0-12 St James’ 0-9

Father and Son,along with Uncle and Nephew line out

A rare enough occurance on a GAA pitch to see a father and son line out for their team however this was the case in Caheragh last weekend when Jim and Adam Ahern were part of the St. James' team to play Caheragh in this Junior B football league game. Alongside them were the uncle and nephew pairing of Alec and Jack Butler. St. James' opened very brightly with three unanswered points from Jack Butler who was making his Junior debut, Mark O'Brien and another debutant Dylan O'Sullivan. Caheragh came more into the game and went ahead before Dylan O'Sullivan and Mark O'Brien added points to leave the half time score tied at five points each.
On resuming Caheragh were the stronger side and some hectic defending kept St. James' within striking distance.St. James' added points from Shaun Goggin, Diarmuid Keohane, and two from Dylan O'Sullivan to leave the result at 0-12 to 0-9 in Caheragh's favour. Highlight for St.James'was the performance of the young guns making their debut,Aaron Hayes, Adam Ahern in goal, Dylan O'Sullivan getting four points, Jack Butler getting on the score sheet, along with Shaun Goggin,
